I was constantly defending myself. This was the narrative. I found myself speaking out less and crying more. I placed limitations on myself, conformed to the expectation and lost who I was. I’d convinced myself it was what I had to do to be successful, and it only made me more miserable. At that moment, it became clear that I wasn’t living MY life but, instead, following a blueprint that simply wasn’t designed for me.
Ok, so now what?
I had to create my own blueprint, I had to take the design that wasn't made for me and flip it in my favor. I had to redesign my mind. What purpose did I serve? How do I live my truth? I realized that I am a bridge. And not just any bridge, a badass, confident, and intelligent bridge.
My favorite weekend activity
Watching 80s Classic Movies… Some Kind of Wonderful, The Goonies, Harlem Nights. Seriously, they just put me in a positive space.

Yes, FRAMily. I have a beautiful but small mix of friends and family that always have my back.
I like to keep my workouts fun and sassy. I will jump from Martial Arts Kickboxing Class to Latin Cardio Class; and my meditations may include wine!
I’ve learned to appreciate quiet moments or quiet seasons in my life. These times help me reflect and keep things in perspective
